Baby HATES the car!

My 10 month old hates the car. Instantly cries and screams every time I put him in his seat and we live 30 min from like everything. His straps are comfortable, he has the graco extend2fit so he has room, we’ve tried tons of different toys and singing sometimes helps... My first also hated the car until we turned him front facing (he got car sick) but in our state they must remain rear facing until 2. Any advice on how to help for another year?! 😭😭
