Keeping Baby’s Name a Secret

I’m not pregnant, but ever since I was little I’ve been stuck on ONE girl name and I 100% plan on using it. I haven’t told anybody but my husband, only my mom knows because I was a kid when I came up with it. It’s entirely unique and I keep a check occasionally on whether or not it’s registered in the census yet (crazy, I know.) My question is, has anyone kept their baby’s name a secret until the day they were born? I’d give out initials but I wouldn’t want to say baby’s name and have someone try to talk me out of it or talk about how they didn’t like it. I’d rather it be on the birth certificate and official before anyone “has a say” or so they think in my child’s name.
