My MIL found out through a friend that I had posted a wallet she gave me a few years ago for sale. I don’t like the wallet. I tried using it and just wasn’t a fan. It was very bulky, didn’t really hold money well, and it wasn’t a pattern i found cute. I don’t think it was anything super expensive. It has been sitting in my regift box for a couple years, but I can’t think of anyone who I know that would use or enjoy it, so I decided to try to sell it on a local page to see if anyone there would like it. Well she found out and texted my husband all offended. He knows I didn’t like it, and he’s fine with me selling it.

The kicker here is that she sells or throws away stuff we give her or her kids all the time! We bought some nice, cute, modest clothing for my husband’s little sister (who was 9) a few years ago. We know it all fit because she went with us to try it on, and she picked her favorite items for us to buy. We only saw her wear one of the shirts. The rest of the stuff still had tags on it when MIL brought it to MY garage sale for me to sell for her. I’m not confrontational, so I didn’t say anything. My husband saw it and was like, “what the hell?” He asked his mom about it, and she said that his sister never wanted to wear it. When he asked her, she said she did want to wear it but her mom wouldn’t let her.

I just find it ridiculous that she is mad about something that she does too 🙄
