Confusing boy

So I like one of my close guy friends and about a week ago it was made clear that I was in the friendzone. Then he came over to my house and like say right next to me and leaned his head on my shoulder (which I don’t want to read into). But so then last night he came over and we biked to a park and sat on the grass and watched the stars. He opened up to me about some stuff, told me he really liked hanging out with me and then like pulled me in really close and put his arm around the top of my waist and held me very tight. We kept getting closer and they were a couple moments when our faces got really close and we made eye contact for a whole. I’m so confused because you don’t like basically cuddle and stargaze with someone who’s just a friend? I need help I’m just so confused 😢
