My husband & I are considering adopting a child. We would really love a newborn child. I haven’t done much research so pardon me if I’m not very educated on the subject. What things do I need to research & know beforehand? What is the cheapest route to go? We could more than likely pay for a private adoption but we’d rather not because I feel as if that money could go elsewhere but anyway. I know it’s cheaper to foster to adopt but I don’t know if I could handle a child being taken away if we couldn’t adopt. I also read this couples story where they used social media to I guess you could say “advertise” that they were looking to adopt. Is there some sort of forum or website that you can do this on? I just know agencies are very expensive. Any advice is welcome. Again I don’t know much about it so I’m looking for advice so please no rude comments.
