Tubes? Has anyone’s littles had to have tubes? We are in ear infection 6 and go to an ENT the 9th

My son had tubes put in at 18 months after 11 yes 11 ear infections. 2 months later we needed a new set because they were so clogged. Be prepared they will still get ear infections just the ears will drain and there isn't as much pain. Drops work instead of oral antibiotics. My son is now 3 and we are going in for more tubes because the last set fell out. He has had 3 infections in 2 months. I was under the impression the tubes would stop the ear infections, but they don't always. Good luck I hope they work for you guys.

My oldest had constant reoccurring ear infections and had his adenoids removed with his tonsils for sleep apnea and tubes in his ears at age 3. He has never had an ear infection since his surgery.

My son had tubes put in after 9 infections, let me tell you they were a lifesaver and I wish we had done them sooner. He was in pain a lot right after and took a day to recover but after that first day he was back to normal. They fell out when he was 3 and he’s only had 1 infection since then. He’s 6 now.

I was wondering the same. We’re on the 3rd ear infection in 5 months. The pediatrician told me if he has 2 more before the year is up we need to talk tubes

My little bubbie did! He did great, he has another surgery that was a he’s so we were more focused on that. He had about 5-6 ear infections. He got it done on Halloween and he’s doing well 🥰
