How many married couples here DON’T share a bed?

I wish we shared a bed more than once a week.. Husband works nights so he sleeps during the day.

Nope. Dont. And we are so much happier we dont. He snores. Im a light sleeper. We both want to sleep..

Nobody has to conform to society on this one.
When reality & responsibility (& shift work) rear their heads, and you have to function at work,  sleeping separately sometimes is fine.

I would absolutely love to share a bed with my husband. Unfortunately, his snoring is extremely loud (I'm guessing sleep apnea). Even though I take medicine for insomnia and night terrors, he still manages to wake me in the middle of the night. We have created separate but adjoining rooms in our basement. I also have to frequently pull all-nighters as I am a full-time student. However, I do wish many nights that I could just fall asleep in his arm (only has one, as a result of a motorcycle accident).🌠

Sometimes when I'm on call, or if I can't sleep and want to poke around on my phone, I'll go sleep in the spare bedroom.  But that's out of the ordinary.

I would honestly love a guest bedroom or a better couch one day because of this. I dont mind sharing a bed with my SO but sometimes it would be nice to have the option of sleeping elsewhere. Our current couch not being sleep able right now is mostly my fault though lol 🙈

Me and my husband have been talking about this. He sleep walks and talks and always wakes me up multiple times in the night. I need to get more sleep but I’m not sure what sleeping in different rooms would do to our relationship
