Should I say something?

This morning I posted about my boyfriend who got a tattoo of my name even though we talked about how we wouldn’t get our names on each other. Anyway ever since he told me he’s been acting way overboard/lovey towards me. He’s been texting me paragraphs, telling me he loves me so much and can’t stop thinking about me. He says he feels closer to me since getting my name tattooed on him. I feel really weird about it because we have been together for 5 years but he’s acting like when we first started dating even though we have been in a rough spot. Should I tell him i feel uncomfortable?
