And words of wisdom???

My daughter is is 2yrs 10 months and loves the dummy... goes all day at daycare with out (and sleeps fine) but is very dependent on it for sleeping at night.

Made the call to give it to Santa this year before she turns 3 (the date is set for this weekend at a family day).

She is so switched on and I have discussed it with her lots but she is incredibly stubborn and I feel nervous that this is going to be such a horrible phase we are about to enter!!!

I want to hear good and bad experience stories ... how long did the weaning off go on???
