Newborn night sweats??

Question

So whenever my baby wakes up at night for his next feeding, his back is covered in sweat. Through his clothes on to the sheet. He’s only wearing a gown, swaddle, and socks and our room is somewhere around 67 degrees. His temperature is normal. I’m going to call the pediatrician today but I just wanted to check and see if this is happening to anyone else?? It’s so weird to see a little baby sweating so much.

I agree with the pee comment.    My son if his pee pee is pointed up pees like out of the top side of the diaper and it rolls down his side and puddles at his back.   And if I didnt know better I'd think he was sweating

Are you sure it's not pee coming out of the back of the diaper? This has happened a couple of times to me because his diaper wasn't on correctly.

My guy runs hot and his armpits sweat some! It’s so weird bc my daughter was always cold. So we keep our house cool and a fan on for him. No jammies on, just the swaddle and still sweats. Definitely not pee for him since it’s up in his armpits 😂

I would also agree with the pee comment with it being 67 degrees. You can try to just swaddle him in a diaper and see if that helps the situation. If it still happens it’s probably pee.
