Anyone a Medical assistant?

So i just had my 3rd boy 2.5 weeks ago. I drive school bus right now but am debating on becoming a medical assistant for when they are all in school...i was wondering if any of you are medical assistants and if so what your day looks like hours days a week and so on. Also if you think it works with having 3 kids

Hi, I’m a certified medical assistant! I just recently stopped working, to be a stay at home mom temporarily while expecting another baby! I went to school at night which took me about a year to complete, then began working immediately! The pay depends on where you are and how much you work. My typical hours were 830-5 M-F. Some places are willing to work with you though, and you can do per diem/PT. One of the best decisions i made was becoming a CMA! My only complaint was I can’t find a second shift job with this position. Good luck!!

I am currently a CMA and work M-F 8-5 in a pediatric dept. LOVE my job 😊 no holidays to work either which is a bonus!
