I'm going to keep my company's name anonymous because I have signed off saying I would never talk negatively about the company. Which I'm technically not, just a customer. My company bought a family owned company. Simply because the family owned company wanted to retire. So they did each other a favor. However, that is not how the family owned company's customers see it. For the past year they have belittled us left and right. I'm normally a very happy go lucky person. I don't let customers bother me, it's just not worth it in my opinion. However, tonight a customer got to me. I'm mad at myself for not reacting. I'm also thankful that it happened to me and not one of my co-workers. I'm also some what proud that I didn't react because it could have caused me to lose my job. Here's what happened: customer stopped me and asked if we had something. I said no ma'am I'm sorry we are out of stock. Customer grabs me by my shoulders and says this is why X shouldn't have bought Y bc X sucks. I say I'm sorry.... Customer stops me and says "yeah thanks but you all still suck." Then walked away. I was so taken a back that I didn't even react until an hour later. I worked for this company for 12 years! This is the very first time I'm truly shocked by what happened. I hope karma bites this woman in the ass harder than she could imagine.
