I’m honestly blessed. I never thought I’d have someone like this to call my soulmate, my partner, my best friend.

I just gave birth yesterday to our first child together (I have a daughter who is almost 11). He was freaking out about the delivery because he didn’t want to see me in pain and had no idea what to do. I had no experience because I was a single mom when I had my daughter and my mom was with me so it was a different experience.

He was such an amazing and supportive coach. Holding my leg up, encouraging me to push, telling me how I’m amazing. In his own joking words he said he got a hard on from seeing me be a warrior through this 😂 I take that as a huge complement. He even took a peak even though I told him not to look there while our baby was coming out.

Seeing him after birth was just 🥺😍 his smile and excitement. He helped me go to the washroom, helping me with nurses and doctors (I moved to his country and struggle with the language). He helped me with bed pans because I had an epidural and couldn’t walk for 5 hours as the nurses wouldn’t let me. He didn’t get grossed out by all of the blood. This man is my rock.

I’m currently waiting for him to come back as spouses couldn’t stay the night. I’m just sitting here, so happy that I had an amazing birthing experience.
