Natural IUI

I've been ttc for close to 2 years with unexplained infertility and for the last 5 mo we tried traditional chinese medicine + eating super clean which for the most part made me feel amazing,I lost weight etc. Both my husband and I were on different types of herbs and in conjunction with the clean eating he also has been feeling pretty good as a result . 2 weeks ago we decided to do another semen test and see whether things improved. The last time he did a test was in april and his numbers were great but his morphology was only 4%. Recently his numbers came back and his morphology went up to 12.6 % , count was 650 mil, however motility was 21%. Needless to say we were baffled as to what couldve happened . All the changes we made were for the better. I asked our chinese doctor what we should do and he suggested some things and amongst them was a natural IUI. I've heard IUIs dont have a great success rate but I also want to give it a shot. I was tested as well at the beginning of this year and all my tests came back normal. I guess my question is has anyone tried natural iui ?what was your experience like ? I would like to avoid hormones until we start the ivf process in the fall. My thought process is that until I go through the grueling process of ivf I'd like to get my body as strong and healthy as possible
