Anybody out there named Valkyrie?

Husband really likes this name. I was the one to suggest it, and now we know were having a girl. I'm worried it's too unique. Do you have or know someone who has this name with some insight?

I’ve only ever heard it on Lost Girl lol but I’m not against it 🤷🏽‍♀️

It’s very unique but it has a very deep  background. You could also call her “ Val” which may lighten it up a little. I’m not a fan of unique names but I actually think this is one of the unique names that is cool and has meaning.

My daughter's name is Phoenix  and my name is storm, it's not to crazy only thing is our names won't be on any thing like keychains

It reminds me too much of the Nazi movie, even though I know that's not the original origin of the name. But I just wouldn't want that association.

I had a little girl in my daycare with that name. But everyone called her Lexi 🤷🏻‍♀️ not 100% sure why exactly.
