What to expect in divorce court

Can someone explain how things usually go in court or what to expect. Or how did it go for you if you experienced it. If you don’t mind sharing.

We don’t have kids. My husband has credit card debt and other debts that he racked up but he wants it to be split equally. I highly doubt they’ll make me pay for his motorcycle debts (I don’t even know how to ride a damn motorcycle). He bought two bikes and the car, a boat and racked up credit card debt. He would just come back with a car or come home with a bike and never asked or talked to me before making these big purchases. All of which are in his name. He was the main provider during the 5yr marriage.

I think all the furniture should be sold and the profits split. That makes sense. Since we both benefited from it. The reason that we’re even going to court and not doing this the easier way, is because he refuses to agree to alimony.

I have text messages of him saying he would take all the debt because well he caused it. Idk if those messages help, but I’ll make sure to keep them. The only reason he requested for the debt to be split equally now is because he’s mad about alimony.
