My first pregnancy the epidural didn’t work on me. Has anyone else experienced this? I am curious if you tried again and it worked? I’m trying to decide if I should try it again or just go natural...

Out of the 3 of my children I’ve only had 1 epidural. It was my 3rd pregnancy. It took them an hour just to put it in. And it wore off in an hour and I felt everything! I will not be getting it again. Currently pregnant with number 4.

Failed 1st and 2nd for me  so 3rd and 4th I did with iv fentanyl a couple times instead was easier. This is 5 will be woth out also.

My first pregnancy it didn’t work at first and only numbed my right side until they had me move around a bit and it eventually went to the left.. then it numbed me all the way up to my neck and I couldn’t feel myself breathing and made them put an oxygen monitor on me..
However, my second time around it worked perfectly! No complaints that time!
