Breastfeeding toddler needs to fast for anesthesia, help!

My 2 year old still nurses at night. She has a dental procedure coming up that requires her to fast from midnight to 6:30 am. She normally wakes at about 2 am and 6 am to nurse for a few minutes and freaks out, screaming and crying if I dont let her. I've been trying to gently wean her reducing the amount of time I let her nurse at night but I'm worried it's going to be one hell of a bad night. Does anyone have any tips, I'm guessing I'm going to have to let her cry it out or go into the living room and let my husband try and sooth her back to sleep, I'm already anxious about her going under😖😖😖
