Does your baby sleep in own room yet?

Question

If yes when did you move them? My son is 4 months and I don't feel ready to move him yet but have seen some people have done.

My son has been in his own room since 2 weeks old. He sleeps so much better in his crib, and we don't wake near as much to every little movement or sound he makes either. I have a video and audio monitor to keep an eye on him and all is good. 😊

Nope. Mine is 4.5 months and I'm no where near ready. We moved her crib into our room since she outgrew what she was sleeping in. It's really not recommended to move them before 6 months anyway so I definitely wouldnt rush it if you arent ready.

I'm attempting to wait until 1 year based on the SIDS recommendations, but honestly will play it by ear! It's good to be able to hear my little one crying - even a room away makes a difference.

We moved her when she turned 5 months.  (Last week). She looked like a giant in her bassinet ☺️

Just wait til you’re ready! I personally moved my baby a week before she turned 4 months and I didn’t feel ready for it but I felt she was. She would wake up to every little noise me or my husband made and she also outgrew bassinet and I didn’t want to move her crib into our bedroom. It’s been a month now and she has slept great every night since. I’m still getting use to it- at first I slept on the floor next to her crib and now I’m in the guest bedroom right next to her room and sleep with the monitor next to my face..lol. But I just think every situation and baby is different so just do what feels right for you guys!

My LO will be 6 months in a week (due date 7/16 born 6/15). We moved her last week and it was definitely time. She was waking every two hours to eat now we are down to 2 feedings a night! 
I really loved having her in the room with us but it really wasn't working for anyone. It really depends on the situation.

He was just about 4 months we were both ready he was waking up every hour which means so was I. It was hard getting used to I think more for me than him going from cosleeping to his own crib I missed him. But all so worth it we both sleep better and I get to sleep in the same bed with my husband again. You’ll know when it’s time. I have the baby monitor literally right in front of my face at night haha so it helps seeing him and he also wakes up twice a night for feedings which I don’t mind. Good luck !

We moved her when she was about 4.5 months. She was ready and so was I - it was getting too hard to stay quiet and not disrupt her sleeping in our room. She sleeps great in her crib in her own room!
