Showering with baby?

Just curious how many people shower or plan to with their baby?

We attemptes once when baby was little and it was not a good time. To slick and I did end up falling, thankfully littleguy wasnt hurt. Wont even attempt next with the next baby.

I never showered with my daughter when she was little, but we did baths together. I could comfortably fit her on my knees with them bent, or my husband would do it (sort of a bonding time for them), and then when we were done washing her, the other one would come and take her.

I’ve loved showering with both my babies. I don’t wash myself while they’re in there until they can sit on the floor by themselves, instead my husband takes them out when I’m done washing them then I wash myself. But I have a speaker in the shower and we sing and dance and have a great time.

Personally? I have tried once and will never try it again. I’m 5 foot and 100 lbs. for me to juggle a baby in my arms , as I try to wash her and myself too( cause otherwise me getting in was pointless) is a very hard and dangerous task. My daughter was born 7 lbs 1 oz and 19 inches long. And from there, she grew and grew and grew. I have never been able to feel comfortable in the bath with her because of the me being small and not able to properly hold her and feel secure in my balance and all. Even in a bath situation where water is already in and all. I simply don’t feel confident that I can keep her and myself 100% safe at all times. I almost slipped once and I had her in my arms. Once was enough for me not to ever try that again. She’s 3 years old now and she loves bath time ..with mommy on the floor washing her and her in the tub. I’m happy with that. She’s safe and I’m safe . That and .. I don’t have anyone to help after the bath is done.. so basically I need to put her in a safe place in the bathroom for 2 minutes as I dry myself and put close on first and THEN I can get her dried and clothes as well. Too much of a pain in the butt. Not to mention that I much rather wait till the end of the night after she’s asleep so I can take a nice HOT LONG shower .
To each their own. I’ve always found it dangerous and counterproductive in every aspect. There’s plenty of bonding time to be had with the baby and bathtubs to me are not one of those

When my son was a newborn I'd often shower with him and then pass him to my partner to dry off and dress while I showered myself. Once he could sit up he often played in the base of the shower.

I bathed with my son while he was a baby. I’d have his dad there to help and take him out when he was done. 
Then as he got older we’d shower together. He’s 3 and every other shower he has is with me. It’s just a lot easier for me.
