Bedtime support

So tonight is the night we put baby to bed in his own room in doing so we were also going to officially start ST. He’ll be 5months on the 20th.

I thought I had the support of my husband only to find out I don’t. He also apparently can’t under what ST is. He just doesn’t want him to cry cause it’s an inconvenience to his own sleep. “Right, just feed him to sleep and put him down.” What part of teaching him to sleep independently don’t you understand? Ugggh
