PIO Injection spots?

So I had my frozen transfer yesterday I’ve been on the PIO shots now for a week and I have to take them everyday until
My beta which is on the 19th and then if my beta is positive I’ll continue the pio shots everyday up until week 12!
My real question is... I already feel like I’m running out of places to inject. What did you ladies do? My nurse friend said that IM (intramuscular injections) can also go in the leg like on side of the leg but I know my doctor said to do them in the butt area.. just want to see what you ladies did! These shots suck so bad but hoping for a positive beta next week so it’s all worth it!

I switch injection sides every other day. For me, this gives each side an extra day to heal and I find I have more comfort when I switch sides again. 
I also heat the vial on the lowest setting of my heating pad for 10-15 minutes before drawing it up, then I heat the site I’m going to inject for a few minutes before injecting, and heat/massage it really hard for a few minutes after. I’ve heard ice makes the oil clump more, and heat disperses it better. Two weeks in and I’ve had no issues or bruising at all.

If you alternate sides each night, you should be okay. I use Dr Numb (not sure if it does anything, but I tell myself it does) and I do NOT ice. I put the injection under my arm for 15-20 minutes to warm the oil to thin it out, and then my husband does the injection. Once he takes it out, he massages the area with a warm, damp cloth. Then I walk around for about 5 minutes. I haven’t had any pain the next day and I’ve had maybe 4 shots in the 6 weeks I’ve been doing them that I would say hurt when they went in.

I alternate sides each night and then sit on a heating pad afterwards. It does progressively get more sore over the weeks, but I just repeat in my head "it's all for my baby" and somehow that helps 🤷🏼‍♀️

You can ask your nurse to mark your back so you know extra spots that you can inject. I had my mom (a nurse) draw dots all over so my husband new different places to inject.

You can also use Endometrin vaginal inserts to give your butt a break for a week or 2 and recover, and then go back to injections if you want. For me, it was nice when my husband was gone for a week. The “downside” was I had to administer them 3 times a day and set alarms on my phone. The advantage is they don’t hurt at all and you can do it by yourself. It’s like inserting a tampon.

I didn't have a problem with them.  I rotated sides of my butt.  I iced the area to numb it before having hubby give me the shot.  Then I rubbed the area and put a heating pad on it.  I never felt the shots.
