Runny green poop normal? Growth spurt? Advice please!
I ebf my almost six week old. Last Friday, her poops started turning from the normal, seedy mustard yellow to green and seedy (light green/lime green). It was still the same consistency, like mushy/runny. She’s been gassy the last two days and I think she’s going through a growth spurt (cluster feeding every hour all day the past couple of days). Yesterday morning she woke up gassy. She hasn’t pooped in a while, so I did the Wiindi which helps get some gas out. She had gas and then all of a sudden an explosive green poop (that shot across the room 😮). Since yesterday morning, she’s had five more very runny dark green seedy poops and still gassy (she’s not colicky or crying nonstop or anything just fussy).
Just wondering if this is normal? Maybe because she’s in a growth spurt? I cut out dairy from my diet when she started getting gassy. I read about foremilk/hindmilk imbalance so for the last few days I’ve been keeping her on one side for a longer period of time (basically til she pulls off or I can tell she’s sucking for comfort). So I’m not sure if it’s that or something else? Advice ?? Should I call the dr?
No fever, and she’s having plenty of wet diapers.
