PCOS and periods

So I have PCOS. I don’t have regular periods. I haven’t had a period since September I think. Just recently I’ve been spotting. Now I’m having a bleeding more frequently. Not enough for a tampon though. Could I count this as a period? We’re TTC so I’m not sure if this could count as a period. When I do have a period it’s usually very heavy but this is only enough for a liner. And it goes from dark red to just brown. And sometimes nothing at all. Thoughts?
