IV 😭😒🙄

Ok everyone talks about how bad childbirth is and the scary epidural needle but nooooooobody talks about the IV they put it. It took 4 people, 5 blown veins, and a PISSED OFF mama before they’d do it inside my elbow area. They had to bring in an ultrasound machine to find a good vein. Literally never had a problem with them finding veins before.

“Well ma’am. We don’t like to put it there because of how much you move that part of your arm during labor”

Yeah, we’ll i don’t like it when you are stabbing me 15 times in the wrong spot only to blow my veins 5 times 🙃🙃🙃 out there damn thing where it’s comfortable for me.

I’d been in the hospital for at least 24 hours by this point so I was OVER. IT. 😂
