Am i just being too protective?

So our friends son is turning two on Saturday and I have an almost 5 month old daughter. Their son is in daycare and is always sick, and his mom just sent a Snapchat of him talking but then he started coughing and it was a wet deep cough. And I know there’s going to be other kids from the daycare there and a lot of people. I’m hesitant to bring my daughter because of people’s germs. I’m not the best at voicing that I don’t want people to touch or hold her. I don’t know what to do.
