Would it be weird?

Twins run in my family. I thought that if I ever had twin boys I would name them Michael and Gabriel. 
Michael Gideon
Gabriel (no mn yet). 
However my husband has two brothers literally named Gabriel. A half brother from his mom and an adopted brother from his dad. Would it be weird naming my son Gabriel?

Maybe call the them Michael and Gideon? And use Gabriel as the middle name?

Personally i wouldn't use the name Gabriel in that case. It would be as they are named after the brothers, unless that's what you want of course.

I would only use it if you were planning to say it is a way of honoring his uncle... which then is weird if you only ‘honor’ one uncle just because you like the name... in my personal option, unless you are doing it as a way of honoring a relative, first names are not up for duplication... what does your husband think?
