Did I overdose? Anxiety...

Backstory:

Warning, very dramatic, please be kind.

(Skip to the red dots of you don’t want to read the whole thing)

So I’ve been getting pneumonia quite frequently, had it a year ago, then about 2 months ago got it for the 2nd time then exactly a month later got it again. Got referred to a pulmonologist and the dr prescribed me 2 inhalers albuterol sulfate(helps open up lungs) and Flovent HFA(helps with inflammation). (They’re under the impression I have mild asthma but I personally believe I don’t, I’ve never had any kind of breathing problems other than when I had pneumonia, but that makes sense because there’s fluid in my lungs).

Anyway I take the Flovent 2x a day 12 hours apart, and the albuterol sulfate every 4hrs. I start both treatments at 10am and stop at 10pm. Wasn’t sure if I should go throughout the night, never got to asking. I’ve been on it for about 5 weeks now, was supposed to see the dr a week ago but missed it due to a very important event at school, waiting for soonest available app. date.

I’ve been pretty inconsistent with my scheduling of it. I’m really bad with time management and I don’t think I’ve took the medicines time ever since started it...😳. I can’t get on a habit of doing it on time for the life of me..it’s really bad😬. So that’s one thing. Also it makes me pretty jittery, it stopped for a bit and then came back.

Anyway I’m rambling about irrelevant info. Just now I took 3 puffs of albuterol instead of 2, and then went ahead and took my 2 puffs of Flovent, as it’s 10pm. As I’ve said I’ve been pretty inconsistent with the scheduling so I’m just concerned on how it could affect me. I’m wondering how much albuterol it takes to overdose? I was feeling pretty weird before I even took the medicine too, not sure why either it’s the way I’ve been eating lately(pretty bad), or my inconsistency is starting to catch up to me. I know I’m probably being incredibly dramatic right now but I have super bad anxiety and the papers that you get for the medicine with the side affects says there have been deaths linked to albuterol, this really freaked me out. It said it multiple times too, really pushing it like gee. Not only that but my sister just told me a story of this girl who didn’t ween off of muscle relaxers for a surgery she had and she went through a whole bunch of crazy stuff, disassociation, hallucinations, thoughts she felt weren’t her own telling her to do stuff(wtf), one night she had a crazy thought, climbed on top of her bed and lunged herself off of it cracking her head...like whaat. She eventually recovered and was alright tho, but that’s just incredibly creepy. The paper also says you have to be weened off of Flovent, you can’t just suddenly stop. Sounds like the kind of drug that would cause this to happen.

Anyway, if you read all of this, thanks for listening to my ridiculous anxious thoughts, if you could help ease my mind I would appreciate it😂😬
