How long did it take you to conceive after ectopic?

For those of you that have had babies after an ectopic. How long did it take you to conceive following an ectopic ended by the Mtx shot? We can't start trying until January but I am curious

I'm so sorry for your loss.. Took us 1 1/2 years to get pregnant again.. The month we got our BFP we used ovulation tests and preseed. Now I'm 11 weeks and 5 days:)

Quick answer is right away.  We had an ectopic in beginning of October 2015 and needed 2 doses of methotrexate.  It took about 4 weeks for the hcg to hit 0.  I must have ovulated right away because we are now pregnant 6w1d with a healthy baby in the right place.  We were told to wait until January to start trying again and I had every intention of waiting but one time we slipped up!

I didn't have the shot but had a ruptured tube removed in early Dec 2015. We waited aboit 4 months before trying again and got pregnant the first try! It had taken us almost 6 months to get pregnant with our ectopic baby. We were shocked it happens so fast this time.

I had an ectopic December 2015 and lost my left tube. Conceived march 2016 and I know have a 3 month old baby girl! I had her one year and 2 days after I lost my tube.

I was super discouraged and thought it would never happen but it actually happened quicker after I lost my tube than before

It took 6 months the first time and 3 months after my ectopic.

I'm so sorry for your loss.  We also had an ectopic in October with 2 rounds of methotrexate.  I'm still waiting for my hcg to drop completely.  We are also going to start TTC in January.  Wishing you the best of luck!!!

Two months. Had one shot mtx early October 2016. 12/28 got bfp again. I am now 13 weeks.

I had my left tube removed in December and we fell pregnant in April! So about 4-5 months.

I had multiple methotrexate shots and it has been 1.5 years since our ectopic and we are still trying. We have been trying for over two years total. I have PCOS and now I am recovering after a uterine fibroid removal surgery. Hoping to start medications next month.

I didn't have the methotrexate shot, but I had one of my tubes removed back in October, I got my BFP nearly 3 weeks ago. So it was around 3-4 months (baring in mind we had to wait a while before trying again)
