Anyone know of any ideas?

I would love to stay at home with my little one when she is born but financially I am afraid it is not possible. We will be short about $300 a month and that breaks my heart because it is so close yet so far away. If I do have to continue to work full time my MIL will watch the baby during the week and rub it in my face everyday unfortunately 😭 she is super excited and even calling the baby hers and not mine and that she won’t grow up to be anything like me if she has anything to do with it. Needless to say I would love to stay home with my baby. What all do you all do to make it work? Any virtual jobs? Money saving hacks?

When I become a sahm before my hubby started making good money we cut back on all the things we did not need .cable we did not need it so instead we kept internet and got hulu saved us 140 a month.we made cheaper dinners and that saved 200 a month also clipped coupons .not getting my nails done no going out to eat .sending him to work with a lunch saved us another 300 a month.go over your bills and see what you can cut back on .like cheap shampoo and conditioner .so many ways to cut back and save .

I'd sit down with your budget and see where you can save money. Cut back on unnecessary expenses and maybe work part time on your husbands days off.

First off your MIL sounds mean.
We had a lot of chats about me staying at home with our daughter and it made more sense to do so because it would cost my paycheck for daycare so before baby cake we tried to pay off as much debt as possible and knocked out 2 car payments and a loan so that freed up some money every month.  Also during my pregnancy whenever I saw wipes on sale I would buy a few and I would try to buy a box of diapers every week so for the first 2 months we didn’t need diapers or wipes which helped a lot

I work from home as a business coach. I quit my teaching job when I had my daughter and have since replaced my teacher salary and then some. 
I teach mamas like you who want to earn income from home how to start your own online business in coaching or as a virtual assistant.
There’s a lot of info on becoming a virtual assistant out there and it’s a great option if you don’t have a ton of experience in other areas.

Anyone know of any ideas?
