Cervidil?

Does anyone have any experience with being induced using cervidil? Details please!

I was twice! Its like a tampon. I felt nothing. Had to lie down. Took about 11-12 hours (my doctor had me do it during the night so I could sleep) that’s about how long it took to soften then they started pitocin and induced.  Sometimes the softening can work faster. I have never had natural labor and I wasn’t having contractions with my two kiddos, and if you are maybe it will work faster. Good luck!
