This is a myth. It is completely safe as it doesn’t actually affect the baby in any way. Only best to stay clear during first trimester as you can inhale the fumes. It’s totally safe. Google it if you have to. xx

Im a hairdresser. Yes its safe to color hair, chemicals such as ammonia haven't been used in regular hair dye in year and is completely safe to use during pregnancy. I definitely recommend going to a professional that way you are in a well ventilated area. 
If women couldnt dye hair or get there hair dyed during pregnancy a lot of hairdresser would be out of business 🤷🏻‍♀️

My doctor said to go ahead with foil highlights which is what I got. I can’t speak for all over color.

It is safe. I've had 3 boys and colored my hair with all of them. I'm on my 4th pregnancy and will be coloring my hair soon as well. My OBGYN told me it was completely fine.
