Termination question!!!

So I live in the UK, I was watching an american programme on teenage pregnancy and a girl who was 18 has a baby of 1 year and found out she's pregnant again, she was really upset and said its not what she wants but there's nothing she can do about it now.

So I was thinking, can you have terminations in America as easy as you can in the UK, was there a reason why she said she can't do anything about it? Are they really expensive over there...
