My husband was able to take off a pretty big chunk of time because we live in Canada and have extended parental leave. When the LO was getting up for multiple feedings, we did shifts. When she was down to one feeding in the middle of the night, I did it. She’s sleeping through the night for the most part now (14 weeks).

I do the night feedings bc he’s efb. Hubby takes the morning shift, from whenever the kiddos wake up until 8am. I usually go back to sleep. If things are really hairy in the night I will ask him for help. For instance the other night the baby was cutting a tooth and the toddler was sick and they’d been up for two hours and everyone was crying including me and the crying woke hubby up so I tapped him in and just about collapsed. But that doesn’t happen too often. I don’t get to nap when baby naps bc I have a toddler who doesn’t nap at all but we do quiet time while the baby has his afternoon nap

SO has health issues, so he is required to sleep at night. That means I napped during the day while I was on leave. It made us sleep train before I went back to work and it’s been so good for us! 11.5 hours a night babe sleeps and is so happy!

SO has a dangerous job so I handle night duty 100%.  He helps when he doesn’t have to work though or when we went on vacation.

Thank you guys have all given me great answers I posted something earlier about it and had a whole bunch of people pretty much tell me I'm doing it wrong. I've been trying very hard Todo most of it, I stay up all nights and most of the day usually.

My husband works thirds so night duty has been all me besides weekends and the first two weeks. But now my son sleeps through the night, so I sleep when he sleeps, and during the day I get other things done during his naps.

I’m a stay at home mom my husband owns a tow truck he’s up by 5 am and isn’t home till late could be anywhere from 8-10pm my youngest is 3 months and during the day I don’t sleep I find it hard to I sleep at night when he dose he wakes to eat and right back to sleep
