How do you buy for your so?

Moms, how do you guys buy for your so?

Little back story;

My boyfriend makes good money and can get everything he needs without asking or mentioning anything to me,but I really want to get him stuff for Christmas. We’ll be celebrating Christmas late with each other, due to he’s a truck driver and will only get 3 days to be home with his kids for Christmas. He makes comments about how he needs more jackets/hoodies, and I know he could always use one,but he’s picky about his clothes. I had this idea to do a big gift basket with a bunch of his favorite things and just stuff for his truck, plus adding in handmade things that my son and I do for him.(He asked for this and we’re doing it,but I’m surprising him with what is written on it,etc.) I feel like I’m stressing this out,but I just want ideas, thank you in advance.
