Progesterone supplement question

This is an odd question, but I just got my progesterone supplements. The bottle says to insert them vaginally but these look oral to me? I inserted my first one last night and had either spotting or orange from the casing in my underwear this morning. Is this actually supposed to be taken vaginally or did my pharmacy mess up?
