I may accidentally when I go in to kiss her cheeks and then she moves quickly. I don’t believe in kissing the lips just because there’s a greater chance for her to catch something. I don’t really understand why parents kiss kids on lips- I just feel like it’s an intimate thing, not sexual I mean, but just why not just kiss the forehead or cheek, why go for the lips? Plus, cold sores run in my entire family and my mother in law and brother in law get them so I think it’s just engrained in me, I just always give them the cheek anyway.

I just started kissing my baby on the lips, I didn’t before because I too felt weird about it but his little face lights up when I give him kisses and I just go for it now.
