My bf is 18, we’ve been together for 2 odd some years, well anyways he still kisses his mom on the lips.. I’ve noticed it for awhile but haven’t said anything because he tends to blow up over the littlest things. Just trying to avoid another fight. So is this normal and I’m just overthinking it ? Just asking before I say anything and he starts going off the wall. Opinions? TIA

It's normal for some families. Just because it seems strange to you doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. You've really got bigger problems if he flies off the handle at little things all the time and you're constantly walking on eggshells.

So my best friend always kissed her mom on the lips, the whole family did for events and when they greeted each other. I always noticed this! I’ve seen other family’s do it and Ive even seen it on tv and movies. So I went to a family event with my best friend and she greeted her mom, kissed her, and I was right behind my best friend and she came to greet me next and I went in for the quick kiss hoping to be fancy and greet them like everyone else does..and her mom just freezes for a second and looks at me like 😳., and quickly moves on to everyone else. 
I WANTTTEDDDD TO DIIIIIEEE. 
This was like 7 years ago I’m still so embarrassed 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

I am almost 19 and kiss my mom and grandma on the lips and kissed my dad on the lips until I was 13 (he passed away) but wouldn’t have continued to kiss him on the lips as I got older if he was still alive

He shouldn’t get mad at you for little things. I am afraid his problems are deeper then kissing mom on her lips. (And I think that is pretty discusting for an 18 yo)

My sil kisses her dads on the lips. I personally don’t kiss my dad or my mom (passed away in April) on the lips but I don’t really see a problem with it. Just not my cup of tea personally
