Ovulation and Plan B

So I know that if you’re already ovulating Plan B won’t work. My main question is what if LH surge already happened I’m not exactly sure when I ovulated but I got an LH surge two days before I took the pill. I got a positive the night of the 19th and the whole next day. The day after that is when I took the pill. So If my LH surge already happened does that mean the pill won’t work?
