45 Day Cycle - Should I Be Worried?

I took my last pack of birth control back in June since I had been on the pill for about 7, give or take. I had gone off few some time in college and my cycle was not normal at all (went without a period for 7 months) and found out my hormone levels were slightly off.

Since going off of the pill in June, I have gotten periods regularly, they are just 42-45 days a part...so I'm not getting one every month. I am not TTC yet, but want to be soon. Should I be worried? Is it worth it to go to my doctor now before I begin to get some blood work done?

I am freaking myself out by reading things online about how it can be difficult to conceive if your periods are so far apart, because you're not ovulation regularly. Is there anything else I can be doing to try to adjust my cycle to be closer to 28ish days? Where do I begin?
