Anyone’s baby ever have strep throat?

My husband has strep throat and I am so worried our 6 month old will catch it. Has anyone’s baby ever had it? What was your experience?

Both my husband and I got strep throat at the same time. I called the doctor to ask about getting the baby tested. They said it's really rare for little guys to get it bc you aren't sharing things with them yet. Just no kisses on the mouth, don't use your mouth to wash their paci, and practice good baby hygiene- i.e always washing your hands, toy/cup/bottles sanitation, etc. :)

My partner had it when our daughter was around 10 months old. We took her to the pediatrician bc we were worried she had gotten it. The pediatrician looked her over and told us that it’s actually really rare for a child under 2 to get strep throat. Just make sure to sanitize everything thoroughly and gave him wash his hands often and refrain from smooching kiddo till he’s better 😊💕
