At my 20 week scan the dr mentioned that my baby girl had 6 mm of fluid on both of her kidneys but not to worry and they would recheck after several weeks. I just had another ultrasound at 34 weeks to check her kidneys. The fluid is the same; no more or less. They said her kidneys are “stable” and they would do a repeat ultrasound at birth. I know this is a common issue in boys- anyone have experience with a girl having this problem- did it resolve? Is there anything more I should be aware of? Would love to hear other experience to calm my fears.
