So I discovered a circle on my babies foot today and I’m concerned. He’s 7 weeks old, fully breastfed, 8.5lbs. He has on socks majority of the tome and hasn’t been in contact with any sick people and l always make sure those who do come to see him wash and sanitize their hands before the pick him up. I took him to the doctor and they say it looks like a possible bug bite and not to worry about it but I’m a worrier by nature lol. What does it look like to you all?

He hasn’t had a fever, he has a great appetite, plenty of dirty diapers and doesn’t seem to be in any pain when it’s touched or has pressure applied to it. It’s not flakey and it seems to be under the skin like his foot skin isn’t risen like a bump would be. It’s like a little ring embedded at the bottom of his foot.
