When did your baby start crawling?

My baby just turned 8 months and he’s not crawling yet. I have friends with babies younger than mine and they are crawling. Should I be worried? When did your babies start crawling?

Just after his 7 month mark. I won’t be worried, I only started crawling close to 9 months and my husband only started crawling at 10 months. As long as you didn’t see any physical reasons why he might not be crawling than you are fine 😊 some babies are just lazy.

Our daughter was crawling the day before she turned 7 months and walking the day she turned 10 months :) Crawling isn't a super important milestone. My brother-in-law actually never crawled at all.

My first never crawled, found out crawling isn’t a milestone. She walked by 12m.

My kid crawled a week after her first birthday and then a week after that she started walking and never crawled again.  Each kid is different so don’t worry.

I have 3 boys my first started crawling at 7-8m my second was 10m and my 3rd started at 5m!.. all babies are different.. if your DR. Isn’t worried about .. don’t stress yourself out🙂.. my aunts two girls didn’t start crawling til after a year old and started walking around 16-17m.. they are now 19 and 21... both are geniuses and perfectly healthy❤️

My little guy was 8 months before he really started crawling. And he didn't start walking all the time until about 15 months. He was a little slow getting to things. Even rolling over before that. 
They go at their own pace. I wouldn't worry!

My son was about 6/7 months when he started ‘army crawling’ on his belly. Didn’t start walking until 14 months...made me really worried when I heard that my sister in laws son had walked at 8 months. They all learn at their own pace, as long as they’re making progress in some way I wouldn’t say you should be worried. Bring it up with the doctor to be sure.

My daughter seemed to skip the  crawling, she walked after her 1st bday and is unstoppable 😋 don't worry they get mobile and suicidal very soon so enjoy the moment 😀

As long as your pediatrician isn’t worried, you should be fine! They’ll know other signs of being developmentally behind, so would be able to tell you what to watch for. My girl also just turned 8 months and is only scooting backwards and rolling places, no crawling. Her doc says it’s because she’s had so many growth spurts, her muscle development can’t keep up to get her really up on all fours for long. She’ll get there, and I’m sure your little one will as well!
