My brother has dated this girl on and off for 3 years. This past month he proposed to her.

It’s been on and off because she will break up with him if he doesn’t have money, whether a job or mom and dad giving him some. Whenever he gets money she wants to date again.

Her family is very poor and lazy, none of them work, or want to, including her. She never showers, and the clothes and gifts we give her she sells. My brother constant buys her new things.

She’s essentially the white trash stereo type, I can’t stand to be around her, simply because of her smell.

She constantly stays here, my brother lives at home, and just stays in the basement, she calls it “their apartment”, which was filthy till today.

At my moms Christmas party she took home half the food and snacks in massive containers, then brought the snacks to Christmas as our gifts.

She’s a nice girl and we have the same interests, and I know some people aren’t as well off as my family, we are only middle class, but she is just trashy. Just bailed on so many interviews because she’s “just too nervous” and her and my brothers “dates” are him taking her shopping.

My mom and I try to talk to him, we know he can do better, but he won’t here it, just makes stuff up.

She has STAINED. Our sheets brown with her fifth but he won’t have it. We live in a small town and my mom and I both are scared they will become lazy, welfare parents in a trailer.

I’m not trying to offend anyone with that if you live in a trailer but he was salutatorian in high school and has a college degree, and she didn’t even finish high school. We just feel thats not the life he wants and is settling because he’s scared.

We don’t know what to do and I know some of you will say it’s not my problem but it has become my problem because we are cleaning up after them and cooking their food and paying for stuff. My brother works at a gas station and hates it, but if he stays with her he will never leave it. Neither drive as well so I or my folks have to take them everywhere.
