I am currently an in home caregiver for a wonderful family. I get paid $400/week cash and work teacher hours 7AM-4:30. I live an hour away from her home and take my 7 month old baby with me. This is the perfect job for me at the moment because I will be starting online classes soon and will be able to watch my baby, work, and do classes at the same time.

Here’s the problem:

I have another job offer. It’s $31,300/year with benefits and bonuses. Downside, the hours are 10AM-6:45PM with the same commute. I won’t be able to do school or spend time with my baby. However, it is more money and I’ll have access to healthcare.

I am currently living with my baby’s father and am trying to leave. I don’t have much money and am unsure if I should stay where I am or take the job.
