Scented panty liners cause itch???!

Okay so a little back story I’ve dealt with yeast infections constantly after having sex with my ex one of the main reasons we broke up I couldn’t take it anymore. But now I’ve been free of yeast infections although sometimes I would get a little itch here and there, I do get scared bc I think it’s about to be a bad one but the itch doesn’t last long and I just use my cream and it goes away. I haven’t been wearing panty liners for a little over a week and my vagina has been good but this morning I put one on and I started itching like crazy like in a hard to reach spot close to my vaginal opening so I’m like it has to be this panty liner then I realized it was scented and I been using these for months now I just realized the only time I dont itch is when I’m not wearing them. So is it possible that this is throwing off my ph? My discharge is never any thick cottage cheese discharge like my yeast infections used to be but it’s still not my normal discharge it’s almost pasty-like and white.
