decreasing movement

summer • Henry 💙

so i wouldn’t necessarily say it’s decreased by a whole lot, but he definitely doesn’t seem to be as crazy as he was before over the last week. does this happen as you get farther along? he still meets his kick counts, but he’s usually WILD around 8pm and reaches 10 kicks within 5 minutes and lately it’s been more over the course of an hour and a half

The “running out of room” advice is very bad advice , baby kick right up to you deliver , from this week on they have there own pattern sleep and awake moments and still move when sleeping , could be his most active time for you , please say to your doctor at your next app and I hope everything goes well for you :)

They’re just getting increasingly cramped in their space and it’s harder for them to move a ton. It happens as you get further along, but if movement is ever significantly decreased and you don’t meet kick counts daily i would call.

I remember with my first being scared for those reasons and asking my doc about it, they told me it's just because they're running out of room so it's harder for them to really kick up storms
