Did you change your mind about wanting kids?

I'm 23, never really wanted kids cause i dont like them. But apart of my wants to want them. I see a baby in public and it will smile at me and it is just the cutest thing ever and it makes me wonder.. my husband does NOT want kids at all... if i even bring up kids he shuts me down straight away. I dont know if i will change me mind. And if i do... theres a chance he wont!

Before I got married, while I was in HS and college, I didn’t want kids. I liked kids, but I liked my quiet time, my body, and my freedom, and my financial security. Then I dated a man with a five year old, and my opinion started to shift. We broke up and I started dating my now husband. Seeing him with his nieces and nephews (ages 2 and 3 at the time) strengthened my love for him and I decided having a family with him sounded nice. 
I still miss my quiet, my body, my freedom, and my financial security, but I love our son more than anything and he makes me smile every day. We’re due with our second next summer. 
So, yes, I changed my mind. But I changed it before I got married. We wouldn’t have gotten married if we had different views on children.

Always really wanted kids until my brother had a kid when he absolutely wasn’t ready and immediately went nope, 4 years later it’s still a nope. I am not ready to have a child and won’t be anytime soon. 
I used to want 3 kids, 2 boys and a girl, if I ever do have kids, I just want one; or twins, but giving birth scares the FUCK out of me. I’m 24.

Some people never want kids
Some people have always wanted kids.
When i was younger i never wanted my own kids, because i had an irrational fear of parasites (which is another, longer story) but i believed that women would have more power held to them if they made the choice to. 
I never looked at a pregnant woman in disgust, but always felt that way if i imagined myself like that...
....uuuuntilllll i met my love. It didnt happen right away, either. 
Now i really want kids but i know i can also wait.

Than I got pregnant at 27 had my baby girl and fell in love!
Had another boy 3 years later and I’d say best thing that wver happenned to me and to our relationship.
Made us stronger and united.
But my husband was never against kids!

Growing up, and in my teens i was always adamant that never wanted kids and I didn’t like kids. Barely any of my friends or family had young kids and I thought that was great but didn’t have to pretend I liked them. I thought I wasn’t really that maternal.  I’d also never really seriously dated anyone, my relationships tended to last 6-12 months max before I’d get bored of the routine. 
I’m 27 now and in a steady relationship, for the past 2 1/2 years and actually thinking the marriage kids thing doesn’t sound too bad. Don’t get me wrong, the thought of being pregnant and having to give birth absolutely terrifies me, and there’s lots of other things about kids that I’m just not ready for. But I am warming to the idea.
