Missed period, no pregnancy symptoms

I am 9 days late, still no pregnancy symptoms. Done pregnancy test kit on missed period day 1 and 3, both negative results. Afraid to test again coz afraid of disappointment. Guess I'm just having haywire menstrual cycle this time. Still hoping that we are pregnant. :)

Any similar experience to share? Thanks!
